The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure research track. Expertise is required in the specific area of hematology with a focus on understanding the mechanisms of transformation in high risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the ability to deliver high quality care implementation of head and neck clinical pathways as well as participation in clinical trials. There is an expectation that clinical trial results will lead to scholarship. Successful candidates will be part of a growing clinical program.

Excellent organizational and time management skills are required as well as strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with all members of the lab as well as external collaborators. Obtaining research funding is expected in this position.
