The Cleveland Clinic Florida Cancer Institute is currently seeking a highly skilled and qualified medical hematologist/oncologist to also serve as Cancer Center Director at our newest facility Cleveland Clinic Martin Health.
The successful candidate will be joining Commission on Cancer Comprehensive Community Cancer Program at the Robert and Carol Weissman Cancer Center, with an employed Radiation Oncology group in this newly formed leadership role. Leadership experience is a priority as the Center Director will be responsible for overseeing the program, including operational, fiscal, educational and quality improvement. The Center Director will participate with leadership teams at the Taussig Cancer Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, Cleveland Clinic Florida Maroone Cancer Center in Weston, and Cleveland Clinic Indian River Scully Welsh Cancer Center in Vero Beach to include tumor boards, care-pathway development, and research. Must be BE/BC in hematology oncology.
Responsibilities for the successful candidate include:
- Embrace the clinical culture of Patients First and focus on Access, Quality, Safety and Patient Experience
- Strong Leadership skills and experience of successfully managing and mentoring physicians and non-physicians
- Develop regional alliances/networks and actively participate in CC Florida strategic planning
- Outstanding communication skills to foster alignment with the Taussig Cancer Institute and Cleveland Clinic Weston, with emphasis on Cancer Programming and the development of Integrated Practice Units and multi-disciplinary care
- Grow/develop the Cancer education program
