Hematologist/Medical Oncologist

Alabama Oncology is the largest, private, community-based provider of cancer care services in Alabama.  The practice has 22 board certified physicians and has a network of 10 clinics strategically located throughout central Alabama with a strong presence in Birmingham’s major hospitals so patients can receive treatment close to home.

Alabama Oncology seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Medical Oncologist to join an established and growing practice. Ideal candidate will be available in Summer 2021 or 2022.  New physician is needed to replace a physician who plans to retire in early 2023.

Alabama Oncology has been providing cancer care in central Alabama since 1984.  This is an exceptional opportunity for a fellowship-trained physician to work in a rapidly growing cancer center with a seasoned clinical staff.

Alabama Oncology has an extensive clinical research program and a retail pharmacy, as well as lab and pathology services.  The practice provides Medical Oncology, Hematology, Gynecologic Oncology, Surgical Oncology and Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery services. 

Alabama Oncology offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including three weeks vacation and one week paid CME.  Physician will be eligible for partnership after two years.
