Adult Hematology/Oncologist - UMass Memorial

UMass Memorial Health Care, the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, is seeking an adult Hematology/Oncology physician.   The ideal candidate will have general experience in both Hematology and Oncology.

UMass Memorial Health Care is a tertiary care referral system serving more than one million people in central Massachusetts and the surrounding region.  The Hematology/Oncology Division is part of a growing Cancer Center.  The ambulatory center integrates clinical care and clinical investigation.

Clinical responsibilities include outpatient and consultative inpatient Hematology/Oncology specialized, multidisciplinary care at UMass Memorial Health Care’s beautiful Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center and HealthAlliance Hospital, north of Worcester. Teaching and participation in clinical investigation are an integral part of our care environment. The ideal candidate will be closely integrated in meetings and educational opportunities at the University Campus in Worcester.

The candidate we seek will be expected to deliver the highest quality of clinical care to the local population and encouraged to participate in cutting edge clinical protocol development and training the next generation of experts in the field.  The qualified candidate will receive a faculty appointment at UMass Medical School and competitive compensation, at a rank commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
