The Division of Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Medical Oncologist with interest and expertise in Precision Oncology to join our practice with subspecialization in cancers of undetermined primary origin.
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is conducting a search for a full-time medical oncologist with an interest in precision oncology and expertise in evaluation of patients with cancers of undetermined primary origin. The Division of Medical Oncology is establishing a service to evaluate patients with solid tumors for actionable gene aberrations, leading to individualized therapies. The individual will staff the Cancers of Undetermined Primary Clinic and assist on the Precision Oncology Consult Service. They will be expected to develop a clinical and/or translational research program in one or both of these areas.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position is an MD or MD/PhD board-certified/board-eligible medical oncologist with a strong clinical background, desire to support research programs, and interest in molecular testing for solid tumors. The position includes participation in educational efforts for the ACGME-accredited hematology/oncology fellowship. Compensation is very competitive, and benefits are comprehensive, including a relocation package.
Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology. Eligible for licensure in the state of Minnesota.
