Medical Oncologist/Hematologist, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - Milford
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is seeking a board certified/board eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our expanding practice at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center.
The ideal candidate will have an interest and expertise in the clinical care of oncology and hematology patients, as well as participating in clinical trial enrollment. The candidate should be personable, collegial and exhibit the ability to work effectively in teams. She or he will join a sophisticated practice of medical oncologists and nurse practitioners providing cutting edge cancer care at DFCI Milford in close collaboration with disease centers at DFCI Longwood, with opportunities to foster disease-specific interests within general hematology/oncology practice. Average call 1 in 6 with inpatient co-management by hospitalists & oncologists for coverage of hospitalized patients.
The Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center is an exciting collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization, and Milford Regional Medical Center. The Cancer Center houses medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, laboratory and imaging services in a state-of-the-art facility on the campus of Milford Regional Medical Center (approximately 25 minutes from Boston by car).
