Lifebridge Health has partnered with WittKieffer for a Chief, Medical Oncology. This is an exciting opportunity for an established physician executive to execute The Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute (Lapidus Cancer Institute) at Sinai and Northwest Hospital strategic and operational goals, objectives and standards of clinical performance.

LifeBridge Health consists of Sinai Hospital of Baltimore; Northwest Hospital; Carroll Hospital Center; Grace Medical Center; Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital; Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center; LifeBridge Health & Fitness; and their subsidiaries and affiliates.

The system is currently licensed for 1,899 beds, and earns approximately $1.87 billion in net revenues. There are an estimated 2,700 physicians on the medical staff and over 13,000 employees. Clinically, the system is strong in neurology, neurosurgery, medical and surgical cardiac care, pediatrics/pediatric oncology, orthopedics, oncology, rehabilitation and ophthalmology. Kahlert Regional Cancer Center on the Carroll Hospital campus offer advanced diagnostic and treatment services for many types of cancer. Their advanced treatment technologies include: Brachytherapy, IMRT, Radioablative Therapy, Radioembolization Therapy, Stereotactic Radiation and TrueBeam™. 

The Chief, Medical Oncology will be responsible for the formulation and execution of strategies and objectives for organizing and managing the Lapidus Cancer Institute across Sinai and Northwest campuses.  He/She will continue to strengthen Lapidus Cancer Institute in an integrated approach to care and a unified approach to whole patient care and will provide strong provider engagement across Sinai and Northwest hospitals. He/She will be expected to strengthen relationships with clinical staff throughout the organization, leading an engaged multi-disciplinary team that takes pride in its work and in the reputation of the health system.

The Chief, Medical Oncology will be an experienced, proven healthcare leader in cancer care delivery. He/She will have served in a complex and matrixed environment in a large, integrated healthcare delivery system and will have significant experience running a highly effective cancer enterprise inclusive of primary care, specialty care, research and teaching enterprises. This person will have demonstrated success in working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, other clinicians and administrative executives. Their leadership style will be one that is proactive, results oriented, and shows a history of achieving positive outcomes in complicated, changing and multifaceted environments.
