GI Medical Oncologist
The Perlmutter Cancer Center, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, at NYU Langone Health seeks candidates for a full time faculty position in the Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology Program. The Multidisciplinary Pancreatic Cancer Center and GI Oncology Program include a dynamic team of oncologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, pathologists, radiologists, and geneticists who aim to transform how we detect and treat GI and pancreas malignancies. Our center maintains one of the largest portfolios of clinical trials for pancreatic cancer in the country, and holds leadership roles in national studies.
We are seeking a passionate clinical researcher who can develop and lead innovative clinical trials, with a clinical focus in pancreatobiliary malignancies. We are looking for someone who seeks to find the most effective ways to prevent, detect and treat pancreatic malignancies and has tremendous opportunities for growth in research, patient care and education.
Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Experience with clinical trials and an interest in clinical or translational research is strongly preferred.
