Clinical Faculty Position in Hematology/Oncology
Gastrointestinal Cancer

The Massachusetts General Cancer Center currently seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible oncologists for a faculty position emphasizing clinical and translational research in the area of Gastrointestinal Cancers, including phase I and II clinical research.  This position is at the level of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. The incumbent will join a multi-disciplinary team, participating in a curriculum agenda of patient care, teaching and research.

Interested candidates should have a record of success in oncology research and in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients. Candidates should be motivated to pursue clinical and translational research, with a focus on phase I and II clinical trials.  Confidence working in a community environment, and dedication and willingness to participate in a multidisciplinary care setting are essential. Candidates should be caring, compassionate, willing to involve patients and families, in the decision-making process and able to coordinate care with colleagues in various departments.  Candidate will work with clinical and laboratory colleagues to help grow a robust clinical and translational research program.
