Assistant Professor
The Yale Cancer Center and Section of Neuro-Oncology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible neuro-oncologists for a position emphasizing clinical and translational research at the level of Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine. Of particular importance is experience in clinical care and a strong interest in the development of clinical trials and novel targeted therapies for cancer. Emphasis is placed on the ability to foster interaction between laboratory and clinical investigators, lead clinical trial teams and conduct high impact clinical translational research. This position involves clinical care and clinical research activities as well as expectations for participating in the teaching mission of the institution. Applicants further along in their career may be considered for a faculty position commensurate with experience. Dr. Antonio Omuro, Chief of Neuro-Oncology, will lead this search.
