Vice President Cancer Services

The Vice President of WVU Medicine's Cancer Institute is responsible for the development and execution of the strategic plan in cooperation with the Cancer Institute Director to maximize the Cancer Institute’s performance across elements of the tripartite mission.  These responsibilities include operational, clinical, financial, and administrative functions associated with services by the Cancer Institute.  The incumbent will provide leadership, management, and direction for the operations of the Cancer Institute, including the continued integration of the signature program across the multi-hospital West Virginia University Health System.  This role will collaborate with clinical departments across the Health System as well as interface and partner with affiliate departments and faculty.  The position requires strong strategy and financial acumen. This position will partner with leaders throughout the health system to drive existing and new initiatives, programs, and services empowering the organization to achieve its mission, strategies, and goals.  As a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President, Cancer Institute, will exhibit and promote the mission, vision, and values of WVU Medicine.
