The NCI-designated Massey Cancer Center and McGuire Cancer Center invite applications from BC/BE Medical Oncology trained physicians interested in genitourinary malignancies. The position will be in the Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Palliative Care at Virginia Commonwealth University and Medical service at Central Virginia VA Health Care System (CVHCS) in Richmond, VA. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to work at both the McGuire Cancer Center (VA) and Massey Cancer Center (VCU) (NCI-CC).

The primary responsibility will be patient care and education. The candidate will have an opportunity to teach approximately 15 fellows who have their weekly continuity clinic at the VA. Additionally, He/She will also conduct clinical research in prostate, renal, or bladder cancers in close collaboration with many of the Massey Cancer Center and McGuire Cancer Center's physician-scientists and clinical investigators and respective clinical trial offices. Moreover, the candidate will be able to tap into the research opportunities offered by VA and Prostate Cancer Foundation through VA’s flagship POPCaP program.    

Candidates should hold a doctorate degree - M.D., M.D./Ph.D to qualify for the position. Qualified candidates interested in a leadership position will have the opportunity to assist with the fellowship program's administration and coordination.
