Tremendous Opportunity for experienced Bone Marrow Transplant Physician (minimum 5 years) to obtain FACT accreditation and lead the development of an Autologous Transplant Program, along with Cellular Therapy Program, including CAR-T immune therapies and solid tumor CAR-T trials.

Practice Overview:

The transplant program will be based at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest which is a 900+ bed tertiary medical center flagship teaching hospital, with full specialty care and comprehensive residencies, fellowships, and medical school affiliation with University of South Florida.  Specialty care includes Level 1 Trauma, Regional Burn Center, Kidney and Pancreas Transplants, Perinatal, Neonatal and Children’s Hospital, Lehigh Valley Heart Institute, Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Neurology and complex Neurosurgical capabilities.

  • Referral access to 27 Hematology/Oncology Physician Colleagues within the Lehigh Valley Cancer Institute for the new Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program, including a malignant hematology subspecialty inpatient service with subspecialists and APCs with transplant and CAR-T experience
  • 5000 new analytic cancer cases annually in the program, serving a tertiary care population of over 1 million.
  • 9 Hematology/Oncology Fellows in training, and dedicated APC support
  • Blood Banking support, including experience in supporting bone marrow transplant program.
  • 24/7 Neuro ICU in house intensivist, sophisticated Medical ICU with full capabilities, largest Emergency Room in the state, full complement of Medical Specialties being organized to support the program
  • Access to more than 200 clinical trials, including NCI Cooperative Group trials through membership in the Michigan NCORP, MSKCC trials, and large cohort of Immuno-Oncology trials with Pharma
