ColumbiaUniversity/Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (CUMC/HICCC), an NCI-designatedcomprehensive Cancer Center, in partnership with ColumbiaDoctors andNewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group, is looking for a BoardCertified/Board EligibleHematologist-Oncologistto provide comprehensive cancer services at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Hudson ValleyHospital Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.Subspecialty training is welcomed but not required.

 NewYork-Presbyterian/HudsonValley Hospital in CortlandtManor, New York, located in the northwestern corner of Westchester County, is a 128-bed hospital which has served the residents of the Hudson Valley and Westchester County since 1889, providing a wide range of ambulatory care and inpatient services, with 450 medical staff members in 62 specialties. 

We are the first hospital in the region to hold the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Award, and we are the only hospital to have received this designation twice. The Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center is comprised of multidisciplinary team of renowned surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and magnet nurses who offer medical oncology, radiation oncology,a wide range of infusion services, and cancer support programs in a beautiful new building at the hospital. Our Cancer Center is also home to the Ashikari Breast Center which is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Programfor Breast Cancers (NAPBC).

Cortlandt Manor, New York is located in the northwestern corner of Westchester County. On Route 202 in Cortlandt with easy access to major parkways, the hospital is easy to reach quickly from Yorktown, Peekskill and Putnam Valley, Croton and other local population areas. The beautiful Hudson River, numerous wooded hills and steep slopes, wetland area and streams define the suburban character of the town.  Cortlandt Manor is an hour’s drive to either a Broadway Show in New York City or a salmon stream in the nearby Catskill Mountains.  The easy access to the great outdoors, and proximity to NYC, makes this a wonderful place to live and work.
