Infirmary Health has been delivering high quality health care for over 100 years and is the largest integrated health care system in South Alabama and along the Central Gulf Coast. It services an area encompassing more than 1.3 million lives and has nearly 60 percent of the health care market share in the region. With four hospitals, an employed multi-specialty group of 250 physicians and over 30 outpatient facilities, Infirmary Health is a leading health care provider in the community. Under Infirmary Cancer Care, Infirmary Health has developed an integrated, system wide, multi-disciplinary cancer program. The core principals of development include academic orientation, integrated disease specific groups, active clinical research and quality care delivery. Currently, 4 Medical Oncologists, 4 Radiation Oncologists and 4 Surgical Oncologists provide care at 2 multi-disciplinary cancer centers and 3 satellite offices. Infirmary Cancer Care is seeking additional Medical Oncologists to join its team and be part of the continued growth of the program.

NAPBC-accredited centers embrace the entire spectrum of cancer care, providing women with access to a range of board-certified specialists, including breast surgeons, breast radiologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, breast pathologists, plastic/reconstructive surgeons, genetic counselors and psychosocial support professionals.
