Associate Director, Translational Research Program
The Yale Cancer Center invites applications for Associate Director of its Translational Research Program, which is working to develop personalized therapeutic approaches that will bridge the gap from laboratory-based cancer research to the clinic. The Associate Director is expected to have a PhD degree in a relevant biomedical discipline and will be appointed to the research faculty of the Section of Medical Oncology at the rank of Associate Research Scientist or Research Scientist. Of particular importance is experience in multi-disciplinary collaborative research projects and grant preparation. Emphasis is placed on the ability to foster interaction between laboratory and clinical investigators, lead collaborative teams, and build high-impact translational projects.
