Candidates should have strong clinical, research, and leadership/management experience in a children’s hospital or academic pediatric department affiliated with a university medical school, with progressive experience and an increasing scope of responsibility including faculty and trainee mentoring and program development. The successful candidate will have a commitment and track record of building a diverse community, nurturing a culture that is welcoming and supportive, and engaging diverse ideas for the provision of culturally competent education, discovery, and patient care.

Qualified candidates will have earned an MD/DO or MD/DO/PhD. (or equivalent), be board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and currently be eligible to obtain a medical license in the state of Oregon.
