Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor, Melanoma-Renal Medical Oncology University of Washington, Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology
The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine, Division of Medical Oncology is recruiting for a full-time faculty member on the clinician-clinician track to join the Melanoma-Renal group. The position would be at the Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor level. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), 12-month (July 1- June 30 service period) annual appointment based at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) – University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake – Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate based on qualifications. The Melanoma-Renal group is committed to providing outstanding patient care, through cutting edge research trials with a strong focus on immunotherapy, to patients with melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, other non-melanoma skin cancers, and kidney cancers. The ideal candidate will actively engage in the group’s research and teaching priorities, while facilitating delivery of exceptional clinical care to cancer patients at a world-renowned comprehensive cancer center.

Requirements include MD (or foreign equivalent) and fellowship training in Medical Oncology and Hematology (or foreign equivalent). In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
