Description

The division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine and the Stony Brook University Cancer Center in Stony Brook, NY are seeking physicians to participate in a clinical faculty practice and lead the development of clinical and translational research programs in Gastro Intestinal Oncology, Genitourinary Oncology and Sarcoma or Melanoma Oncology.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: MD or equivalent, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, BC/BE in Medical Oncology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Patient care experience and interest in leading the development of a clinical and translational research program in GI Cancers, GU Cancers, Sarcomas or Melanomas.

Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
