Physician-Scientist, Division of Hematology/Oncology

The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Division of Hematology/Oncology is recruiting for a new faculty member who is committed to a laboratory-based research career. Candidates must have an MD or DO, and be board-eligible or board-certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Rank (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) at the time of appointment will be determined based on degree of experience and track record to date.

Candidates will be expected to develop a robust laboratory cancer-related research program. While appropriate space and resources will be provided for this faculty appointment, applying for independent research funding is expected as part of this position.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to become a member of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center with access to all core resources and abundant opportunities for collaboration in laboratory and translational science.
