Job Details

The Hematology-Oncology Division at the Wilmot Cancer Institute, located at the University of Rochester, is recruiting an outstanding hematology board-certified/board eligible clinical investigator for an expanding academic and clinical program. He/she will join a team of nonmalignant hematologists who work collaboratively with the other members of the division. A three-year ACGME accredited fellowship program in Hematology/Oncology is offered, which requires a 3-6-month rotation in the nonmalignant hematology

Successful MD, MD/PhD, DO or MBBCh degree applicants will have demonstrated or have the potential for outstanding research relevant to benign, nonmalignant hematology. The applicant will be expected to establish or have established independent or collaborative research programs having the potential for NIH level grant or other lines of funding support. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to advise fellows, residents and medical students and should possess creativity and strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse faculty will be essential.
