This is a state-of-the-art practice with several multi-disciplinary clinics offering the opportunity for subspecialty focus. Surgical subspecialty support includes fellowship-trained thoracic, breast, colorectal, and hepatobiliary surgeons. Radiation services include IMRT, IGRT, and Cyberknife. Pathology support includes fellowship-trained molecular pathologists and hematopathologists as well as a closely integrated regional reference lab. The practice has excellent support with Nurse and Financial Navigators, Care Managers, Social Work, and Genetics. The program has a GME supported Hematology Oncology Fellowship program with two fellows per year. In addition, Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs and affiliations with nearby medical schools offer ample opportunities for teaching. MCRC-NCORP consists of over 100 medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons and other specialists who work hard to deliver exceptional cancer care. The MCRC-NCORP is one of 46 research programs established by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). All inpatients are admitted to a hospitalist or surgical service and the rounding hematologist/oncologist serves as a consultant. New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
