Norton Cancer Institute, a part of Norton Healthcare, is seeking a board certified or board eligible head and neck surgeon to join it's growing practice. This physician will join a network of more than 100 oncologists.  Norton Medical Group.,  employs over 1600 providers including a network of 350 primary care providers.

The surgeon will develop and maintain an active clinical and surgical practice in head and neck surgical oncology.  Additional duties:  

  • Ability to work well in a Multidisciplinary Head and Neck oncology team environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Head and Neck Team on clinical research initiatives.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive, integrated, multidisciplinary head and neck surgical oncology service
  • Anticipated clinical duties include evaluation and management of patients with upper aerodigestive tract and skull base malignancies, including oncologic resections.
  • Ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in reconstruction, including split thickness skin grafts, rotational flaps, mandibular reconstruction, and free tissue transfer using microvessel techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology Otolaryngology; fellowship specialized in microvascular head and neck surgery

  • Active or eligible to obtain a Kentucky medical license
