Medical Oncologist for Community/Academic Position in New York-Metro Area

The Department of Oncology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking applications to fill two immediate openings in the Division of Community Oncology/Hematology to accommodate unprecedented growth at different off-campus sites in the Bronx and Southern Westchester counties.  The Division of Community Oncology/Hematology has currently 10 full-time faculty members.  The successful candidates will be present for 3 days a week at various inpatient locations and 2 days a week in outpatient clinics. There will be an opportunity to increase outpatient days as patient volume increases, and to specialize in a subspeciality. They will participate in all departmental activities, including possible clinical and translational research. Applicants should have completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology and be board-eligible in both specialties. The applicants will have an academic appointment at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in accordance with their credentials. The Department of Oncology at Montefiore/Einstein has 56 full-time faculty members, 45 clinicians and 11 laboratory scientists. The Department is an essential component of the NCI-designated Albert Einstein Cancer Center. Montefiore/Einstein, one of the largest Healthcare Systems in the New York Metropolitan area, is committed to being at the forefront of discovering and developing new cancer therapies to benefit the very diverse population it serves. Please submit a letter of interest and curriculum vitae to rebranco@montefiore.org for consideration. Contact Rebekah Branco at 718-405-8061 with questions.
