The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center is expanding due to programmatic success and seeks a full-time medical oncology faculty with an interest in gastrointestinal malignancies. This position will be on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator track at the rank of Assistant or Associate. Applicants with experience in translation research, developmental therapeutics, and innovative clinical trial design are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include providing care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The candidate is expected to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment and will participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials. Our facilities include a modern 900-bed teaching hospital, outpatient clinic, extensive basic research facilities and a large cancer center supported clinical research office. In addition, there will be opportunities for collaboration and participation within the Division’s Developmental Therapeutics Program.

Qualified candidates will have their MD, board certification in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology, and licensure.

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
