The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute, located in Washington, D.C, invite applications for a breast medical oncologist to lead the investigator-initiated trials and precision medicine efforts in the breast cancer research program at Georgetown University.

Responsibilities include overseeing the care of patients with breast cancer, fostering and directing new clinical trials that bring Lombardi science to clinical applications for breast cancer, mentoring junior faculty, and medical student and house staff education in an ACGME-accredited fellowship program with an appointment at the Associate Professor level.

The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with outstanding clinical, basic science, and population science research programs and departments. Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center is the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the District of Columbia and provides a robust infrastructure for clinical trials and translational research facilities.
