Job Details
Yale Cancer Center
Chief of Hematologic Malignancies
Associate or Professor
Yale Cancer Center (YCC) seeks a talented and highly motivated individual who is board-certified/board eligible in hematology and/or medical oncology specializing in hematologic malignancies. Experience in clinical care of patients with hematologic malignancies and a strong interest in the development of clinical trials and novel therapies for leukemias, myelomas, or lymphomas are particularly important. In addition to being active clinically, this incoming physician leader will have responsibility for the clinical and academic activities related to lymphoid and myeloid malignancies, including research management, education, strategic planning, faculty recruitment and retention, and faculty development/mentorship. The successful candidate should be an established clinical or translational researcher and is expected to initiate and maintain a vigorous, independent, externally funded research program, and participate in the training of medical and graduate students as well as postdoctoral and clinical fellows. The optimal candidate should have a demonstrated academic record consistent with the level of Associate Professor or Professor at Yale School of Medicine. A research focus and publication record in hematologic malignancies is required. Yale values diversity in its faculty, students, and staff and strongly encourages applications from women, members of minority groups, persons with disabilities, and protected veterans. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. All application materials, including CV, a letter describing qualifications, and a one-page statement of contributions to diversity and inclusion should be submitted electronically to: https://apply.interfolio.com/106840
