Serves as a therapy area and product expert for both internal and external customers, including the Medical Information Call Center. Conducts medical review to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. Contributes to Medical Information planning for new product launches, line extensions, and key data releases, as applicable. Develops Field Medical resources to help educate on Genmab’s technologies and pipeline products. Proactively analyzes global customer inquiry data to identify trends and knowledge gaps; strategically communicates actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders to inform business planning.
Domestic and international travel will be required: ~2-3 domestic/international congresses and company meetings.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scientifically accurate and balanced medical and scientific information, including Standard/Custom Response Letters and payor dossiers
- Create Field Medical slides deck to help support scientific exchange
- Direct and coach the Medical Information Call Center and serve as the escalation point for triage of complex inquiries
- Respond to medical information inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients and payors submitted by Field colleagues
- Provide medical review of promotional and medical materials to ensure content is accurate and medically appropriate
- Possess a vision for use of innovative technology to create new opportunities for dissemination of medical information
- Lead Medical Information planning for new product launches, line extensions, and key data releases, as applicable
- Lead submission(s) of compendia listings for Genmab products
- Proactively analyze and distribute actionable insights and metrics to relevant functions to inform business planning
- Represent Medical Information function at interdisciplinary meetings, congresses and with vendors
- Serve as a preceptor to fellows/students and provide guidance to other members of the Medical Information team
Experience & Skills:
- Scientific or Medical Degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) required
- Minimum 3-5 years of pharmaceutical industry-based Medical Information and Promotional Materials Review experience
- Prior experience with product launches, especially in US
- Prior experience in Oncology/Hematology preferred
- Understanding and knowledge of FDA/Regulatory guidance on appropriate scientific exchange practices
- Ability to lead initiatives and work with team cross-functionally
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Firm understanding of the drug development process including key phases and processes
- Demonstrated ability to build alignment, negotiate and collaborate
- Strong leadership and organization skills with a solutions orientated approach driving optimal business results in a complex matrix environment
- Must be a strong team player and be willing to work in a high-paced environment where individual initiative and accountability to the team are required
- Demonstrates flexibility in response to changing needs and competing demands
