Radiation Oncologist Opportunity on the Gulf Coast

Under Infirmary Cancer Care, Infirmary Health has developed an integrated, system wide, multi-disciplinary cancer program. The core principals of development include academic orientation, integrated disease specific groups, active clinical research and quality care delivery. The team is comprised of: 5 Medical Oncologists, 4 Radiation Oncologists, 4 Surgical Oncologists, and a Gynecological Oncologist that provide care at 2 multi-disciplinary cancer centers and 3 satellite offices.
Infirmary Cancer Care is seeking 2 new Radiation Oncologists, with one to take over the leadership of the program from the current chief of Radiation Oncology who plans to retire with a current 35-year career.
Infirmary Cancer Care’s program has been recognized by the Commission on Cancer for our commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality and multidisciplinary patient care. Infirmary Cancer Care has also earned an accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Infirmary Cancer Care is currently one of three NAPBC-accredited centers in the state of Alabama.
Infirmary Cancer Care provides Radiation Oncology services at two multi-disciplinary cancer centers. Infirmary Health operates the latest Radiation Oncology equipment and technology (Including IMRT and SBRT).
Radiation Oncology fellowship trained physicians are encouraged to apply. Those completing fellowships and practicing physicians with clinical or academic experience are welcome to apply.
