NORTON CANCER INSTITUTE, a part of Norton Healthcare located in Louisville, KY is seeking a board certified or board-eligible gynecologic oncologist to join our multidisciplinary care team. Norton Cancer Institute is one of the largest comprehensive oncology practices in the region, providing care for nearly 5,000 new cancer patients and completing more than 100,000 patient visits each year. Norton Cancer Institute is accredited by the Commission on Cancer and by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. Our physicians stay on the leading edge of technology and oncology innovation, with minimally invasive surgical and radiation oncology techniques and access to numerous clinical trials, including phase 1, to provide the latest targeted therapies. 

The gynecologic oncology specialists at Norton Women’s Care provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for all types of gynecologic cancers, including cervical, uterine and ovarian.  Our 4 gynecology oncologists support two hospitals where women’s services are offered, Norton Hospital located in downtown Louisville and Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital located in the St. Matthew’s area of Louisville.

About the position:

  • The ideal candidate will join the most comprehensive cancer team in the region with 20 medical oncologists, six radiation oncologists, four gynecologic oncologists, an orthopedic oncologist, an oncologic dermatologist, a medical geneticist and more than 45 advanced practice providers
  • Behavioral oncology support available
  • Norton Cancer Institute has 4 daVinci robotic systems including 2 daVinci Xi, multiple dedicated gynecologic pathologists, biweekly Gynecologic Tumor Boards and robust research program with access to national trials
  • Norton Women’s care employs over 100 OBGYNs
  • Must be board certified or board eligible
