NORTON CANCER INSTITUTE, a part of Norton Healthcare, has opportunities for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join it's growing head & neck service line which consists of two physicians and two advanced practice providers.  Norton Cancer institute consists of more than 100 oncologists. Our physicians stay on the leading edge of technology and oncology innovation through access to more than 200 clinical trials, including Phase 1 trials and next-generation sequencing, to provide the latest targeted therapies. They participate in more than 30 tumor boards monthly.  Our providers are a part of Norton Medical Group, a physician-led medical group that employs more than 1,700 medical providers and offers a strong network of referrals.

About the Surgical Head & Neck Physician Assistant position:

• Position will focus on the treatment of head and neck patients
• Position will consist of inpatient, outpatient and surgical responsibilities
• Will work as part of a larger medical oncology practice collaborating with oncology providers that care for all cancer patients in our community
• Night and weekend call is required; pay is $300 per call shift to cover call and is currently 1:3 which will change and adjust to less as we grow this new service line
• This position will work in downtown Louisville at Norton Hospital and in the brand new/state of the art Norton Cancer Institute which is connected to Norton Hospital
