Joe Arrington Cancer Research and Treatment Center is seeking a full-time BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join our multidisciplinary group and help us serve our West Texas and Eastern New Mexico communities. Our dedication is to advancing cancer care through clinical research, innovative therapies, and technologies, and seamlessly integrated services focused on individualized patient care.

 

About the Role

Position: Full-time
Location: Joe Arrington Cancer Research & Treatment Center, Lubbock, TX, with one day per week coverage at Nor-Lea Hospital District, a partner in Lovington, NM

About Joe Arrington Cancer & Research Center

Join an established team of 6 hematologists/oncologists, 3 radiation oncologists, surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, gynecologic oncology, and a large group of community physicians and surgeons. Integrative team approach in a friendly environment with nurse navigation, social work support, genetic counseling, clinical trials, and nutrition services. In addition, we house on-site as well as collaborative efforts with Texas Tech University for research, fellowship training, and medical student rotations.

Additional highlights of our comprehensive program include an on-site oncology pharmacy with thirty-eight infusion suites and procedure areas, a FACT-accredited autologous stem cell transplant program, multidisciplinary cancer conferences, Epic EHR, radiation oncology with SBRT/SABR and SRS (Gamma Knife) capabilities, and a member of the Providence Cancer Institute - a network of physicians, caregivers, researchers, and scientists whose mission is to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care with the latest technologies, research, and access to the most promising clinical trials. Each of our 52 hospitals coordinates to ensure quality, multidisciplinary care, with access to regional subspecialty expertise and treatment protocols - from advanced diagnostics and minimally invasive surgery to genomic profiling and precision immunotherapy.
