Lancaster General Health Physicians/Penn Medicine Hematology & Oncology is seeking 2 BC/BE hematologist oncologists to join our 11-physician medical oncology/hematology group in Lancaster, PA.

Our large practice, Hematology Oncology Medical Specialists of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, is well-supported, works together as a high functioning team, and serves an interesting and diverse community. We care about each other, we care about quality of life, and we care about continuous improvement as caregivers!

Our physicians, board-certified in medical oncology and hematology, practice in a single location, Penn Medicine’s Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute, Our high-functioning professional multidisciplinary care team also comprises nine nurse navigators, four social workers, two dieticians, two chaplains, three financial counselors, two Behavioral Health specialists and three physical therapists. We have two full time onsite licensed cancer Genetic Counselors, and a clinical research team.

Critical to our success and to our mission is our focus on our team, quality of life, continuing education, job satisfaction, and administrative support. Interested physicians are encouraged to pursue research and areas of clinical focus.

Our cancer program is an integrated part of Penn Medicine Cancer Service Line, sharing site-specific oncology disease teams, which focus on quality, safety, and program growth. Our Cancer Institute is a 90,000 square foot state-of-the-art cancer center that provides medical, surgical, radiation, and palliative oncology (30 physicians) under one roof. Our warm, light-filled, modern cancer institute includes 60 infusion chairs, 53 examination rooms, 4 linear accelerators, brachytherapy, the nation's first CyberKnife M6, and an integrated Proton Therapy Center. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine (Allopathic/Osteopathic)
  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency
  • Completion of an accredited Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
  • Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted PA Medical License
  • Board Eligible/Certified
  • Good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs
  • Spanish language skills would be welcome
