Oncologist – Princeton Community Hospital

The WVU Cancer Institute, part of West Virginia University School of Medicine, is actively recruiting candidates for Oncology (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). You will join our rapidly expanding division, committed to providing the best in cancer care to the people in the state of West Virginia and surrounding regions. The successful candidate will be expected to practice at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WVThis position offers outstanding opportunity for program growth and development. 

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Oncology.  In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.  Candidates must have completed an accredited internal medicine residency, as well as a hematology/oncology or oncology fellowship program.  Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in hematology and/or oncology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
