Assistant/Associate Professor

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and the Meyer Cancer Center, is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor of Medicine in Solid Tumor Oncology, with expertise in Breast Medical Oncology.  Candidates should be experienced or interested in a career as clinical / translational investigators. The ideal candidate will establish an academic clinical practice and focus on clinical and translational research projects working closely with other faculty. These activities may include the development of investigator-initiated studies and leading phase 0-III clinical trials in breast cancer.  He/she will practice at the newly established multi-disciplinary breast center that includes on site surgery and radiation oncology, located in a state-of-the art ambulatory David H. Koch building on York Avenue and 69^th Street, and interact with a world-class multidisciplinary clinical team and basic science faculty at the medical campus in NYC and at Cornell Ithaca. The Breast Center is jointly led by Massimo Cristofanilli, Silvia Formenti, and Lisa Newman, world renowned academic breast oncologists in their respective fields. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and direct clinical and translational studies in localized and advanced breast cancer, including specific programs in triple negative breast cancer, breast immune-oncology, and drug development under the guidance of the Breast Center leadership. Faculty rank and salary are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
