The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at ColumbiaDoctors, in partnership with New York-Presbyterian Medical Group, is seeking an academically oriented board-certified/board eligible hematologist-oncologist to lead and develop the Hematologic Malignancies Program at New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital

The applicant will join the Columbia faculty working closely with leaders in academic medicine in lymphoma, myeloma and leukemia at the Columbia University/Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center (CUMC/HICCC), an NCI-Comprehensive Cancer Center, in Manhattan to bring our world class hematologic malignancies program to Westchester County with an emphasis on clinical research in myeloma and lymphoma.  Participation in joint tumor boards, disease management and research at the Columbia University/Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center is required and supported.  

The NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital Cancer Center is a premier patient-centered, multi-disciplinary disease focused program integrated with the CUMC/HICCC to provide on-site comprehensive services in the community. This academic-community partnership has established oncology support services with ACOS-COC and NAPBC accreditations. The ideal candidate will have experience in caring for patients with lymphoma, myeloma, leukemia and other blood disorders and with clinical trial enrollment. 

We seek a dedicated and energetic clinician, clinical researcher, teacher, with the desire to expand a busy hematology program in lower Westchester County.  Candidate will hold a faculty appointment at Columbia University Medical Center and have a demonstrated track record of achievements in clinical care, research and mentorship.
