The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM), in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and the Meyer Cancer Center, is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Associate / Full Professor of Medicine in Solid Tumor Oncology, to lead the WCM Thoracic Medical Oncology Practice.  Candidates should be experienced as academic clinical / translational investigators. The ideal candidate will establish and expand an the academic clinical practice with a focus on clinical and translational research, development of investigator-initiated studies and leading phase 0-III clinical trials in thoracic oncology.  He/she will practice at a newly established multi-disciplinary practice center on site surgery and radiation oncology, imaging, and interventional radiology, located in a state-of-the art ambulatory David H. Koch building on York Avenue and 69th Street, and interact with a world-class multidisciplinary clinical team and basic science faculty at the medical campus in NYC and at Cornell Ithaca. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and direct clinical and translational studies in localized and advanced thoracic oncology, including specific programs in immunoncology, drug development, and precision medicine. Faculty rank and salary are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
