Become part of a physician-led 500+, provider multispecialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Anchored with locations in the Boise Metro area and Ontario, OR (on the ID/OR border) and telemedicine opportunities through the region, this full-spectrum practice is QOPI certified and CoC accredited, offering rewarding opportunities including over 100 clinical trials.

The integrated program also has leading surgical expertise with Idaho's only fellowship-trained surgical oncologist along with other highly specialized, fellowship-trained physicians to support a growing program.

Join our team in bringing cutting edge treatments through our advanced clinical trials program and robust surgical oncology team. Our team includes:

  • 8 Hematology/Oncologists
  • 3 Radiation Oncologists
  • 1 Oncology Hospitalist
  • 1 Surgical Oncologist

Support: Full-service cancer center with medicalradiation, and surgical oncology offers integrative care team support with nurse navigators, social work support, genetics counseling, and nutritionist. Dedicated 10-bed inpatient unit at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Weekly tumor boards provide opportunity to collaborate with our fellowship trained surgeons in breast, plastic/reconstruction, GYN oncology, colorectal, neurosurgery, thoracic and esophageal.  Innovative programs include lung cancer screening, lung nodule clinic, neuro oncology, and robust clinical trials through the Montana Cancer Consortium. Primary care providers in key geographic locations throughout the Treasure Valley, support the specialists. 

Schedule: 4-day workweek, M-F, with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time including clinic, treatments, and rounding as needed. Call is 1:9, shared equitably on evenings and weekends. Inpatient unit covered by Oncology hospitalist M-F, 8-5.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program & Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship;
  • Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment;
  • Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC- Nampa, SARMC - Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed;
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
