The Comprehensive Breast Health Center is located in the Moore's Cancer Center, the only NCI designated cancer center in the region. It is multidisciplinary in nature and is one of the most rapidly growing cancer programs at UC San Diego. Our center currently operates with 3 breast trained surgeons (including our leader with dual training in plastic and reconstructive surgery), 6 breast focused medical oncologists, 3 breast focused radiation oncologists, and 3 breast radiologists. We offer most services at 2 sites and radiation at 3 sites. We are expanding with a new building at our secondary sites that will offer surgery, infusion, radiation, and breast imaging.
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience. The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body.
