The University of Chicago’s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center are searching for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor rank who specializes in the treatment of multiple myeloma. The appointee will have a mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities primarily at our Hyde Park campus. Other duties will include a focus on clinical research activities and development of new drugs and treatment strategies, including cellular therapy, and the teaching and supervision of trainees and students.  We especially welcome applicants who can contribute to further development of the role of minimal residual disease (MRD) and cell-free DNA testing in clinical research and clinical practice and to development of clinical research in amyloidosis.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Hematology and/or Oncology.
