NorthShore University HealthSystem is currently looking for multiple physician positions available within our Hematology/Oncology Department.

1) Lead GI Medical Oncologist; 2) Breast Medical Oncologist; and 3) Hematologist – benign and malignant hematology

 

1) Hematology/Oncology - Lead GI Medical Oncologist

Northshore University HealthSystem 

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Gastrointestinal Medical Oncologist Physician Program Lead
  • Schedule: Full-time - 80% clinical, 20% admin/research
  • Salary: Competitive compensation and benefits package with CME, Routine Time Off (RTO), Tax Deferred Annuity plans and more 

What you will need:

  • License: IL Medical license or pending
  • Education:  Fellowship Trained
  • Certification: Medical Oncology Board Certified required
  • Experience: Background to be able to provide program development, growth and leadership, support quality and safety, lead and maintain clinical excellence and innovation, and lead and develop clinical research activities for our GI Cancer Program.  

 

2) Breast Medical Oncologist

  • Position: Medical Oncologist - breast cancer focused
  • Schedule: Full time outpatient clinical oncologist with rotating inpatient duties
  • Salary: Competitive compensation and benefits package with CME, Routine Time Off (RTO), Tax Deferred Annuity plans and more

  • License: IL Medical license or pending Education: 
  • Fellowship Trained Certification: Medical Oncology Board Certified or Eligible
  • Experience: The candidate will join our Hematologist/Oncologists in an established medical oncology program. Qualified candidates must be excellent clinicians, have breast cancer focused training and/or practice experience, and assist with the development and growth of the oncology and breast cancer programs.  

3) Hematologist – Benign and Malignant Hematology

The Division of Hematology/Oncology at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the prinicpal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an exceptional board certified Hematology/Oncology physician to join a team of six (6) hematologists within a 25-member sub-specialty based hematology/oncology team. This position will focus on muti-specialty team based outpatient care; the ability to develop and participate in clinical research programs and provide outstanding teaching to fellows and residents.
