Jacobi Medical Center - Bronx, NY
NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi
, is a modern state-of-the-art teaching hospital located in a safe, residential and vibrant commercial Bronx neighborhood, just a few minutes north of Midtown Manhattan.  Our institution is a major academic affiliate and teaching site of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with an independent accredited Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.  Jacobi is accredited by the ACOS Commission on Cancer and is an NABPC-accredited breast cancer center of excellence.

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, located on 135th Street in Manhattan, is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Medical Center. This is a NYC Care position.

Kings County Hospital - Brooklyn, NY
NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County
, located in the heart of Brooklyn, accommodate more than 518,076 outpatient visits, more than 141,328 emergency room visits, and with 627 beds, more than 25,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being Afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.

This position entails a mix of clinical, administrative, and teaching responsibilities and reports to the Division Chief of Hematology and Oncology.

Qualifications include:

  • Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
  • NYS Medical License.
  • Competency in Hematology/Oncology procedures.
  • Active medical license In the State of New York.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Very good teaching skills.
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire.
