Medical Director – Medical Oncology

Montefiore-Einstein Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Director for its Cancer Center in Yonkers, NY, a novel partnership between Montefiore Medical Center and St. Johns Riverside Hospital.  In conjunction with Cancer Service Line and Hospital Administration, this board-certified Medical Oncologist will lead the development and clinical operations of comprehensive cancer services and clinical trials, implementing our vision of providing state-of-the-art cancer care in a holistic and empathic environment. 

Yonkers, NY is a city of 125,000 located in Southern Westchester County and St. Johns Riverside Hospital is the reference hospital for its inhabitants and the surrounding community. It is located less than 30 minutes from Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, facilitating integration between facilities and staff. Services currently provided include medical, radiation and surgical oncology, a dedicated breast center, a certified Cancer Registry and support for the cancer committee. A new Oncology Suite with an infusion center overlooking the Hudson River landscape is scheduled for completion in early 2023. 

The Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology is the home Department for this position. We offer a highly competitive salary, proportional RVU incentives to clinical activity and administrative performance.  A generous benefits package including 403b w/ employer match, 457b, tuition reimbursement, LTD & Life Insurance and a generous CME package.  Salary range = $300,000-$400,000 with RVU bonus.
