Medical Oncologist, Assistant/Associate Professor, Medicine/Cancer Center, Malignant Hematology

Description
The Division of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine and the Stony Brook University Cancer Center, Stony Brook, NY, are seeking a hematologist/oncologist physician scientist interested in malignant hematology, bone marrow transplant, or cellular therapies. Experience with treating malignant hematology, bone marrow transplant, and CAR-T patients is preferred. Involvement in clinical trials and clinical research is expected.

Required Qualifications: MD or equivalent. Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.

Preferred Qualifications: Strong interest in clinical research in malignant hematology, bone marrow transplantation or cellular therapies i.e. CAR-T cells. Experience teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities and Requirements: Active participation in a clinical faculty practice including inpatient service on the malignant hematology/bone marrow transplant service, outpatient clinics, and inpatient hematology consultation. Active participation in clinical research is required. Contributions to the teaching and educational mission of the Division are expected.
