Weill Cornell Medicine, Queens

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking an academically oriented board-certified/board eligible hematologist-oncologist, interest in breast medical oncology a plus, to join our growing division at New York Presbyterian/Queens.  Both experienced candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

The candidate will join the Weill Cornell Medicine faculty and a rapidly expanding hematology oncology program that services Queens where the individual will work closely with our 5 full time/1 part time breast surgeons in our NAP Breast Center where we perform over 300 breast cancer surgeries annually.  Candidates will manage patients with hematological and solid tumor malignancies, patients with all stages of breast cancer, possess experience in clinical and translational studies and possess excellent interpersonal skills.  Cancer services are integrated across all Weill Cornell Medicine - NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital campuses to provide outstanding clinical care, including clinical trials and precision medicine, to all of our patients in a warm and nurturing environment close to home. Our collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine enables our world-renowned oncologists to work closely across disciplines to provide complete cancer care to patient’s right here in Queens.

Our academic programs include three graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs.

As one of the most ethnically diverse urban areas in the world, Queens can satisfy nearly every taste. In the borough’s southern extremes, the surf is always up at Rockaway Beach.

The salary range for this position is $315k to $400k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.
