Assistant or Associate Professor
The Yale Cancer Center and Section of Medical Oncology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible medical oncologists for a position emphasizing clinical and translational research at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine on the Clinician-Scientist or Clinician-Educator track. Of particular importance is experience in clinical care of melanoma and renal cell carcinoma and strong interest in the development of clinical trials and novel therapies for these diseases. Emphasis is placed on the ability to foster interaction between laboratory and clinical investigators, lead clinical trial teams and conduct high impact clinical and translational research working closely with the skin cancer SPORE team and the renal cell carcinoma research team. The position involves clinical care and clinical and/or bench-based research activities as well as expectations for participating in the teaching mission of the institution.
