Job Details

Gynecologic Cancer Institute of Chicago, a division of Affiliated Oncologists is seeking a BC/BE Gynecologic Oncologist to join our thriving, independent, physician-owned community oncology practice in the South Chicago area. This physician will join a group of three existing Gynecologic Oncologists and will split time at two sites of service in Downers Grove and Oak Lawn, where they provide chemotherapy services. With a four-day clinic/surgery week, this is an excellent work/life balance opportunity, autonomy over OR/clinic schedule, light and low call volume, and shared weeknight and weekend call. Mentorship available for recent graduates. Ideal candidate should have superior surgical skills, communication skills and the ability to develop interdisciplinary collaborations.

Gynecologic Cancer Institute of Chicago has recently joined forces with Affiliated Oncologists, a large Oncology focused practice based in Chicago Ridge that includes 19 Hematologists/Oncologists, 7 Radiation Oncologists and an Oncology Hospitalist. This group also employs several Advanced Practice Providers, three of which are gynecologic oncology focused.

Affiliated Oncologists is a member of The US Oncology Network, the largest network of community-based cancer centers in the United States. The US Oncology Network has a strong presence with public policy initiatives important to our field, disease specific committees where practices can collaborate with one and other, and a strong clinical trials program.

Affiliated Oncologists offers a competitive starting salary, bonus and benefits package, with the opportunity for partnership with no notable buy-in.
