The Mayo Clinic is among the leading cancer care providers in the United States and is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center.  The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic, Florida, includes 43 board-certified hematologists and medical oncologists, offering highly skilled, state-of-the-art care. The Robert and Monica Jacoby Center for Breast Health in Florida offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to patients with benign and malignant diseases of the breast. The medical oncology team in Florida is known for its extensive involvement in the preclinical and clinical development of novel breast cancer therapies, as well as the identification and translation of cancer biomarkers. They are active participants in the NCI Specialized Program in Research Excellence (SPORE) grant, the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, the Academic and Community Cancer Research United (ACCRU), and the NCI Experimental Therapeutics-Clinical Trials Network (ET-CTN). The division also supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and the Mayo Medical School in Florida.

The ideal candidate for this position is a board-certified/board-eligible medical oncologist who has an interest in joining an active clinical practice. The division is seeking an individual with a strong interest in clinical and translational research in breast cancer with opportunities to lead clinical trials. A track record of publication and clinical trial experience is needed.

The position includes participation in education efforts for the ACGME-accredited hematology/oncology fellowship. Must be eligible for licensure in Florida.
