The Mayo Clinic Division of Hematology in Rochester, Minnesota seeks to recruit an early to mid-career physician (MD or MD/PhD) with interest in Classical Hematology. Eligible candidate will focus on research, practice, and education efforts on benign hematologic disorders including hemostasis and thrombosis. Additional desirable attributes include clinical experience and a track record in clinical or translational research, as well as publication record in the area of immune cytopenia. The ideal candidate will be a clinician/clinician investigator who will help expand our immunohematology practice and research program covering autoimmune hemolytic anemia, immune thrombocytopenia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, and thrombotic microangiopathy. The Classical Hematology group at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN is comprised of 9 physicians, advanced practice providers, and scientists. The position involves a balance of research time, hospital service (hematology inpatient and consult services 8 weeks/year), and clinic-based activity.

  Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in Hematology and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota.
