We have an outstanding opportunity for a new appointment within the Department of Hematology - Oncology.  Fox Chase Cancer Center is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center affiliated with Temple University Health System, features a unique collegial, interactive scientific environment that fosters collaboration between clinicians and scientists.  Our multi-faceted research programs are closely linked to our multi-disciplinary clinical practice and our career opportunities are second to none.

Due to continued clinical growth, the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking applicants for a full-time hematologist with a focus on adult benign hematology to join our team. The ideal candidate should have robust background and clinical expertise in hematology, with an ability to provide consultative support in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The essential functions of the position include outpatient consultation and longitudinal patient care, inpatient consultation and teaching service, education and mentoring of Hematology/Oncology fellows and other learners.

Therapeutic clinical trials and translational research are supported by the FCCC Clinical Research Office.  Candidates should have with an interest in clinical research who can thrive in the team-based environment of Fox Chase Cancer Center.  An interest in collaboration with laboratory scientists in the formulation of investigator initiated studies is highly encouraged and supported.

Faculty appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor is available depending on qualifications.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology, and have an MD or equivalent degree.
